Hello,
I am a restaurant Manager and I made the decision to give this band a try, had not heard them live, and had no references just decided to try them out. WOW… all I can say is WOW! They travel to us, have never been late, and have never taken long breaks. They are a well rounded well put together group. Patty has the energy that every 20 year old woman possesses and the energy that every woman 45 wishes she had. The entire band is a musically tight, extremely talented group of people. They are very professional, know when the sound is too loud, and they don’t hesitate to check in and ask if the sound is ok. They had never been here before and now they have a local following. The folks here often ask, when is Sinister Blue going to be back? So by popular demand we have made them a band that will be here once a month.
We have 20 bands a month and this band is by far one of my favorites and I am not easily amused, I am not only the restaurant manager, but I am also a musician’s wife. Keep doing what you do, and keep wowing your fans!

I can't believe it has been over two weeks since you guys were here to kick off our 2008 season! I Just heard you all for the first time tonight at the Fog Bank in Capitola. I was very impressed by how well you played as a band everyone meshed as a unit.Also i was blown away at your sets. It was very incredible how you played your first set for such a long time. I haven’t heard a band play for so long without taking a break!! As far as I'm concerned it really impressed me on how hard you work as a band!! Supper impressed, Bro. Ray.Take care and keep on do'in what your do'in Rock on!!!!!

My guitar-crazed buddy Richard from London and I were able to take in this week's Redwood City Blues Jam at the Little Fox theater. It was a rainy mid-week night and to be honest, we weren't expecting much. But it turned out to be quite a decent night of live music and cold beer. This week's host band was Sinister Blue featuring the fabulous Patty Marie on vocals. They ran through a range of blues and R&B covers including the likes of Etta James and songs like "Knock on Wood," and the crowd-pleasing "Give Me One Reason." The dance floor was packed in just a short period of time.
If you're in the bay area, you should make this a regular venue. The price is right (no cover charge) and the music is fantastic. -Zack http://www.guitarvibe.com/
